My wife and I searched for a great allergist. Most of the places that we called did not seem to be very caring, or many “allergy” doctors would spend five to ten minutes with you—get that copay, and bill the insurance. Dr. El-Hag is very caring, passionate, and truly cares about his patients. He is not the type of doctor that’s in and out, just slapping stuff together. Dr. El-Hag takes his time to explain everything, and what’s coming next, and why are we doing this (what’s the goal of this test). The entire office staff, from the front desk and billing to RN and NP, is incredible. Not only Dr. El-Hag is an incredible doctor; he hires excellent staff and makes sure they are taken care of as well. In sum, if you have allergies or asthma, go and see Dr. El-Hag ASAP. Absolutely an AWESOME practice. My 16 month old granddaughter and I were visiting my eldest daughter in Texas last week (we are from the Chicago area). My granddaughter was treated by her pediatrician in Chicago for cold symptoms and an ear infection. I knew that there must be something else going on—she had itchy swollen eyes. Anyway….while we were in Texas I decided to look for a reputable Allergist to take a look at my granddaughter. I came across the Allergy and Asthma Center, Adults and Children in Plano—with Dr. Aly El-Hag. I called Thursday morning, and was able to bring my daughter in that afternoon—which is another reason why this practice is AWESOME!! Dr. El-Hag’s and the office staff was EXTREMELY friendly and accommodating to my granddaughter. They asked all the right questions, in order to determine the correct diagnosis. FINALLY, Dr El-Hag diagnosed my granddaughter’s ailment, and gave her a prescription, that almost immediately made her feel better. She is now symptom free, her eyes aren’t itchy or swollen. We will continue the medication as the doctor prescribed to ensure that she continues to feel better. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this practice. As a matter of fact—-if I can’t find an effective doctor and practice in Chicago, I will be willing to travel back/forth the Plano, to have my granddaughter see Dr. El-Hag—the travel will be well worth it. I’m not sure 5 stars does this office justice! As long as I can remember breathing, I’ve never done it very well. I decided to try to get better control over asthma, severe allergies and constant sinus infections that have plagued me since childhood. I started allergy treatments about a year and a half ago. I have already noted that many of the allergens that used to give me trouble have greatly diminished, as well as the recurring sinus infections. I’m looking forward to a time when dogs, cats and everything outdoors doesn’t send me to the medicine cabinet!

The staff here is incredible! They are all very attentive and caring for their patients. My experience with everyone in the office gives me great confidence in continuing my treatment.

Allergy shots are not without risks, but rest assured that you will be in great and caring hands throughout your treatments here. These people are my heroes!

I have suffered from several sinus infections a year, for over a decade. I had been to several doctors and been given antibiotics, only to return a couple weeks later with the same symptoms. Every day, I would drive by The Allergy & Asthma Center on my way to work, and finally decided to give them a call. I was so relieved when I met Dr. El-Hag and got a better and more thorough diagnosis than I had received from any other doctor. I could tell that he was here to help me and find a long-term solution to my problems, and not just send me home with another antibiotic. I have been Dr. El-Hag’s patient for a few years now. Allergies, asthma, and sinus infections were my “normal” for decades. Since being under the care of Dr. El-Hag, allergies are very controllable as I am diligent to get my shots weekly. My asthma is no longer a concern! It’s crazy. And sinus infections have been lessened to just one or two yearly! Beginning with the doctor himself, to Jaimee, Stephanie, Kathy, Rosa, and Liz (I wonder if I forgot someone?), the care and attention to detail is literally the best I have ever experienced. Our grandson played little league baseball from the time he could lift a bat. His allergies to dust, grass, trees, etc. Gave him fits. One of his teammates was a patient of Dr. El-Hag and had no trouble with allergies. After getting the lowdown from his parents, we brought Carl here and started the treatments. He has progressed to the point he takes a shot every 3 weeks. His high school baseball was relatively allergy free and he has had a few, if any, symptoms while attending college. Dr. El-Hag has been the only doctor who has diagnosed my problem correctly and implemented a plan that actually worked. I have recommended him to my friends and family. I have been coming here for just over a year, and I’m so glad! In 2011, I had pneumonia twice which my doctor said was caused by my allergies getting worse. She suggested that I look in to getting allergy shots.

A couple of my coworkers suggested I visit Allergy & Asthma Center. They had visited a few times and had nothing but good things to say. So I thought I’d try it out. Dr. El-Hag and his staff are amazing! From the first shot I received, I have never had allergy problem since.

I know there are closer doctors, but this place is worth the trip.

On my life for as long as I can remember I have been sick with sinus & allergy problems and have been on antibiotics for a huge majority of it. I had my first sinus surgery in March of 2010. This did not help me very much at all. I came here on my own for the first time on 9/12/11 because I wanted an allergy test & was frustrated because the doctors I had seen most of my life only gave me antibiotics & did nothing to help me. After coming here I found out that I did not have allergies but I actually had asthma & it was out of control. I also found out that I had issues virtually no immune system in my body & I was born this way & my body did not fight or recognize infection. After several tests and treatments & one more extensive sinus surgery in 12/11 my help is completely changed. I have not been on antibiotics for 6 months & had no sinus problems in about 4 months. This is the first time in my life that I have went this long without being sick & it is changing my life.

I have suffered with allergies as long as I can remember and I’m literally allergic to everything!!

I have been on maintenance dose is of my shots (3 per week) for just over a year now and I can honestly say that they are a tremendous help.

This summer has been labeled as the worst allergy season in a long time, and normally I would be suffering. It’s amazing to see all of my friends having trouble and for once I’m not having any issues.

The shots work!

Get to maintenance shots and stay there. It might take a year to really notice but once you do, its so worth it.

It is our privilege to recommend Dr. Aly El-Hag as one of the finest doctors we have ever known.

Before meeting him, my daughter, Jennifer, & I had a much different experience with another doctor in the metroplex. It became increasingly difficult for us to tolerate visiting the clinic for appointments. No one there ever smiled!

So imagine our most pleasant surprise when we first met Dr. El-Hag. My daughter has been under his care for a number of years now. In all those years, we I have never experienced anything other than kindness, professionalism and caring from Dr. El-Hag and his entire staff.

He is always smiling and has an excellent bedside manner. I think that trait is becoming more and more rare in the world of medicine today. So when we experience it, we should truly be appreciative.

We are sad to report that are medical insurance has changed, and Dr. El-Hag is not on the new plan. We truly will miss him and his staff. I am concerned we will be unable to find another doctor who will come even close to meeting is high standards.

So, if you are searching for an allergist/immunologist, search no more. You can’t top this!

I have had allergies all my life but my allergies have changed when I moved to the DFW area. I have had several allergy sinus infections in the past. My allergies have gotten much better since coming to Dr. El-Hag’s office. I was recently retested and the results were better than the first test.
